Whenever I travel home to visit, I always stop by the Brandywine in Eastown, Grand Rapids. You can find it at 1345 Lake Dr., and when you get close you’ll know it by the blazing, hunter orange facade (a recent addition, and tastefully done I might add).
They make sophisticated omelets with a slightly naturalist flare, and the eggs Timothy are the BOMB! They will make anything on their menu at any time of the day. I actually recently opted for the chicken enchilda’s for breakfast and was not disappointed.
Brandywine is almost always packed in the morning, so parking is a concern, but the bank across the street is usually empty on the weekends. During my last visit, the ice and 4 feet of snow didn’t make it easy to get to, but didn’t deter me either.
