Hi. My name is Joel, and I love food/eating out. I grew up in an 100% Italian family household, so it is no surprise that food is so centric to my life. Don’t get me wrong, I certainly love to cook. But, there’s something extra special about finding a fantastic place to eat without having to do all the work yourself. Ive been cooking for about 15 years, and writing published work for about 10.
A little more about me: I live in the D.C. Metro area and I work as a Web Project Manager at a local technology firm. I do freelance web/graphic design and I enjoy everything from reading/writing to gaming and especially driving. Next to food, cars are one of my greatest passions. The different sounds unique to an engine, the rush of swift acceleration and the thrill of pushing various cars to their drastically different limits, for me, epitomizes excitement. In case you were wondering, I currently drive a 2005 Infinity g35. Stick shift, of course.
This blog is meant to capture everything and anything related to food. We have news, restaurant reviews, food product reviews, etc. What started as a repository for my random recipes and often disgruntled thoughts about metro DC restaurants has blossomed into a place to read about all things about food, from all over the country.
