Hi, I’m Dan Basil. I was born in Ohio, have lived throughout the Eastern, Midwest, and Southern US as well as Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have traveled extensively and have always loved food.
I am a self-taught cook and have won various baking competitions.
I currently live with my fiance in Brookline, Massachusetts. My favorite food is popcorn (Were you expecting something with a little more pizazz?). My favorite country’s cuisine is Belgium (Not the French?). My favorite television chef, the late Julia Child, but of course.
I am eager to share my recipes, reviews and general food knowledge with all of you.
