Jennifer C.

Hi All, My name is Jennifer and I can honestly say that food may be my best friend. I don’t think food has ever let me down. When I feel fun and flirty, food will lead me, in my “going out” jeans and high heels to a trendy spot to enjoy a great dish, a few drinks and an inviting atmosphere. If I happen to be feeling a little down or lazy, food will plop down right next to me on the couch to comfort and entertain me. On my “domestic diva” days, food jokingly ties an apron around my waste and lures me into the pages of one of my countless cookbooks to find something wonderful to create. Food also knows just what to do to make someone in my life feel special and loved; and food never disappoints. When food wants to enlighten me, it plasters itself all over the TV and Internet telling me what I should and should not eat on any given day to avoid a myriad of unpleasant things and to embrace just as many good things. Food is always a vital part of my day. From cooking to dining out to keeping up with the latest trends, I embrace all that food has to offer. I am looking forward to sharing my thoughts with you.

I am: 100% from New England, a dreamer, a writer and photographer, a has-been runner, a list-maker, and (I like to think) an intelligent person and treasured friend to many. I love my “green” canvas grocery bags and I get a lot of joy out of using them. Unfortunately, most of the time I forget them at home…I think Whole Foods might just be the best place on Earth. As soon as I walk through the doors, I feel pure bliss. I will know I have succeeded in life when I can buy all my groceries there. My boyfriend and I go to the grocery store for date night. I feel most alive and invigorated when I am orchestrating a dinner party. I work and I exercise and I love and I lounge. And I eat!
