Mike
I grew up in New Jersey and went to school in Manhattan. Now I live in North Brooklyn and work as a writer for an elected official in South Brooklyn, where I am reconnecting with the borough that the majority of my family spent the last sixty years moving out of. My favorite thing in life is cheap, delicious food. Something great about Brooklyn is that you can get an excelent restaraunt meal for about half of the price that you would get something similar in Manhattan. Where Manhattan wins is in its abundance of incredibly cheap (under $5) walk-up eateries. These are mainly what I will write about, but I reserve the right to delve into other areas as well. Bottom line: If it’s a good deal, I’ll probably write about it.
A little more about me… I obviously enjoy writing (see www.soreliable.com for some non-food-related material), the New York Mets, the dollar menu at McDonald’s, the movie “Road House,” and the song “Mother” by Glen Danzig.
